Rhythm of Nature

This is an improv gathering for Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, and Hard of hearing participants to explore the “rhythms of nature” through drumming, expressive body movement, and dance.

Participants are invited to meet up at Mt. Tabor Park for some drumming, then we may move on to CymaSpace after dark for some creative filming with music, drums, and lights.

Please note that this is a sacred space to play. We do not tolerate any teasing, mockery, or judgment. There is no right/wrong way to express your own rhythm so please be respectful and do not film others.

This event is free. Donations are appreciated to cover the cost of snacks, tea, and materials.

If you have a drum or any percussion instrument, please do bring it!
